The Blithfield Olympic Triathlon & Aquabike takes place on Sunday 16 August 2026 at Blithfield Reservoir, Waters Lane, Abbotts Bromley, Staffordshire WS15 3DU. Event options include Aquabike, Individual Triathlon and Relay. The organiser is PMA Racing. Entries are open until 2 August 2026.
Course information
The swim is 1.5K, completed as two laps in the reservoir. The bike is a two-lap rolling course with 355 m of elevation. The run is two laps on a mixture of trail and road with 22 m of elevation. The reservoir covers 790 acres and was opened in 1952; much of the surrounding woodland is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
