Ultimate Triathlon 150 100 50
The event takes place on Sunday 20 June 2027 at The Mere, Cremorne Gardens, Ellesmere, Shropshire SY12 0PA. It offers three separate solo distances plus team relay options.
- Ultimate 150: 3km swim, 117km cycle, 30km run
- Ultimate 100: 2km swim, 78km cycle, 20km run
- Ultimate 50: 1km swim, 39km cycle, 10km run
All swim starts use the freshwater Mere for open-water laps. The bike routes run on smooth tarmac through Shropshire countryside roads. The run is a flat, fully tarmac lap course with road closures and spectator access; swim start, transition and run finish are close to each other.
Wetsuits are compulsory for all distances. The event uses electronic chip timing. Finishers of the 150, 100 and 50 receive an official Ultimate T-shirt and all entrants receive an official finishers medal. Free onsite camping is available by pre-booking.
Relay teams may consist of two or three people; each team member completes one or two disciplines. The swimmer passes the electronic chip to the cyclist in the cycle transition area, the cyclist passes the chip to the runner, and team members may cross the finish line together. Age minimums apply: 18 years for the 150 and 100 solo events, 17 years for the 50 solo event. Prizes are awarded for first place in the female relay and first place in the open/mixed relay category.
