Dash in the Dark Race 2
Dash in the Dark is a night trail event held at Llandegla Forest Visitor Centre, Ruthin Road, Llandegla, Wrexham, LL11 3AA. The course distance is 6.4 km (4 mi) with 229 m of climb. The route is described as well marked throughout and is BS partially marked.
A safety briefing is given before the start. Minimum age for entry is over 16. Compulsory kit for all participants includes a whistle, a waterproof top, a hat, gloves and a headtorch with a minimum of two hours good lighting. These measures form part of the event safety requirements.
Entry is charged at £5, payable on the day only. The event is insured by WFRA. Organisers require the stated kit and briefing to be completed as part of the event procedures.
