Shropshire Santa Run

Shropshire Santa Run is a 5k festive running event held in Oswestry, Shropshire. Regarded as Shropshire’s largest Santa Run, thousands of participants dressed as Santa Claus fill the town, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. The fully closed-road course winds through Oswestry’s streets, with the route documented on Strava.

Each entrant receives a 5-piece Santa suit, a Christmas-themed finishers medal, and can enjoy music and flags at the Start/Finish area. Race HQ is on Smithfield Street, close to town car parks. Open to ages 11 and up, the event combines festive fun with a safety-first, community vibe.
