Ullswater Epicman Triathlon & Multisport
The Ullswater Epicman is a multi-sport event based at Park Foot Holiday Park on the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District National Park. The weekend features Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike and Aquathlon races offered over three distance options: Sprint, Standard and Middle.
Course details include lake swims marked by large buoys, road bike laps through surrounding countryside and mixed-surface runs using footpaths, trails, grass and short road sections. Some bike routes pass through Askham, Bampton and Shap and include notable climbs and open-country sections. Entries include electronic timing, aid stations, fully signed routes, professional water safety, a custom swim cap, free photos and a custom finishers medal.
Distances by race category:
- Sprint: 750m swim, 22km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 41km bike, 10km run
- Middle: 1900m swim, 90km bike, 21km run
Participants must hold a British Triathlon Core or Ultimate membership or purchase a single-use British Triathlon Race Pass. Event address is Park Foot Holiday Park, Pooley Bridge, Cumbria, CA10 2NA.
