UK Otolaryngology World Hearing Day 5K

This is the third annual World Hearing Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk. It takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Coldstream Park in northwest Lexington, Kentucky.

The event is held in recognition of World Hearing Day. Its purpose is to raise awareness about hearing and balance health. It also aims to support patient care, education, and research. A key goal is to help provide access to hearing aids and hearing care for individuals facing financial barriers.

Participants can choose from two main activities.

5K Run/Walk
1 Mile Fun Walk

The event features a flat and paved course along the Legacy Trail at Coldstream Park. There will be awards for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as in age groups. All participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt. Free race photos will be provided. On race day, packet pickup is available at Coldstream Park. The event includes music and food.
