Event Details
This is the third annual Strides Against Blood Cancer 5K. The event is a fundraiser that benefits the organization Blood Cancer United, formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Location and Course
The event takes place in Lexington, Kentucky at Coldstream Park. The start line is behind the Embassy Suites North Lexington, which is noted for convenient parking. The 5K course is described as flat and fast, using paved trail surfaces on the scenic Legacy Trail.

Registered participants receive a commemorative unisex-sized race t-shirt (sizes S-3XL). Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three in several standard age groups. Free race photos are provided.
