Event Overview
The Reforest Frenzy is a running event scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Hisle Farm Park in Lexington, Kentucky. This is the seventh annual edition of the event. Race proceeds help raise money to purchase trees for the annual Reforest the Bluegrass initiative in April.
Race Distances
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- 1 Mile Dash
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
Event Details
The race is a fundraiser for reforestation efforts. Organizers hope to plant hundreds of trees after the race and thousands more during the larger Reforest the Bluegrass event. All race participants receive an event t-shirt and have the option to take a tree home to plant.
Overall awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Packet pickup details are to be determined. A course map is available online.
Sustainability and Partners
The event is presented by John’s Bluegrass Racing Company, ASICS, and the Lexington Division of Environmental Services. The race partner, ASICS, has sustainability goals including a net-zero target for 2050.
