Event Overview
This event features a 5k and a 10k cross-country run on the grounds of Two Twisted Posts Winery in Purcellville, Virginia. The route goes around the vineyard property and includes rolling hills. The 10k course consists of two loops of the 5k route.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available on race day. Prices increase on race morning.
- 5k: $35 until April 30, then $40.
- 10k: $50 until April 30, then $55.
A technical event shirt is guaranteed for runners registered before May 6. For later registrants, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participant Information
All runners receive chip timing, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and one glass of wine from the winery. Race results are posted live online and via a QR code at the event. A virtual run option is also available.
Packet pickup happens on-site on race day. Organizers recommend arriving one hour before the start time.
On the Course
The event is timed for all participants. Water stations are provided: two on the 5k course and five on the 10k course. Gatorade may be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the winery building.
Awards and Series
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the first and second place in standard age groups. Race points count towards the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack, and Sippin series.
Charity
A portion of the proceeds benefits Equality Loudoun, a non-profit organization supporting LGBTQ+ equality in Loudoun County. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
