Two Rivers Turkey Trot 3K and Tater Trot 1K
The Two Rivers Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 at 2600 Benning Road NE, Washington, DC, on and near the Anacostia Tidal Marsh and the back nine of the Langston Golf Course. The event includes two runs open to all ages.
- 3K 1.86 mile loop around the Anacostia Tidal Marsh and finishing by the driving range.
- 1K out-and-back fun run.
The 3K course starts at the driving range, loops around the tidal marsh, crosses a wooden bridge, follows the tree line on both sides of the river, and returns to the driving range. Surfaces include grass, gravel, and pavement. Running strollers with large wheels are permitted; other strollers and dogs are not allowed. Participants may park strollers and bicycles near the start.
Organized by volunteers, proceeds support Two Rivers Public Charter School. Registration is required and fees apply; scholarships are available. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine. In cases of lightning or extreme weather the organizers will cancel with no refunds or rain dates; registered participants will be notified by email.
