Event overview

The Twisted Oak 4k & 8k is a cross-country run held at Twisted Oak Farm Brewery in White Post, Virginia. Points from the event count toward the 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Sippin' Series. A virtual race option is available. Participants receive one glass of beer from Twisted Oak Farm Brewery, a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing.

The 4k completes one lap of the brewery property and the 8k completes two laps. There are no major hills reported; an elevation profile is available on the course map page. Water stations: five on the 8k at approximately mile markers 1.7, 2.4, 2.6, 4.3 and 4.5; two on the 4k at approximately mile markers 1.7 and 2.4. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are inside the brewery and on-site parking is provided (address: 912 White Post Rd., White Post, VA; coordinates 39.052269, -78.118354). Packet pickup and race-day registration are available at the event; organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the event to check in. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before March 11; extras are first-come first-served. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to 1st and 2nd place in standard age groups; top three overall are not eligible for age-group awards.
