Twisted Oak 4k & 8k
This event offers two distances around Twisted Oak Farm Brewery in White Post, VA. It is a cross country course run around the brewery property; the 4k is one lap and the 8k is two laps. There are no major hills noted on the course description, and an elevation map is available on the course map page.
Points from this event count toward the 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack series, and the Sippin' Series. A virtual race option is available. Runners receive one glass of beer from the brewery, a finisher's medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing.
Water stations are provided: five stations on the 8k at approximate mile markers 1.7, 2.4, 2.6, 4.3, and 4.5; two stations on the 4k at approximate mile markers 1.7 and 2.4. Gatorade is available at some water stations. Restrooms are available inside the brewery.
Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations received before March 11; sizes for race day registrants cannot be guaranteed. Early registration fees are listed for each distance and increase on race morning by an additional five dollars.
Race results are posted live via Athlinks with a QR code at the event and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
