Trail Demon 5k & 10k - Dirt Farm Brewing
Trail Demon is a trail running event held May 1, 2027 at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, VA. The event offers two loop-based distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course runs on a forest trail behind the brewery. The 5k is one loop and the 10k is two loops. The route includes technical sections with tree roots and rocks and shows elevation changes; course maps are provided by the organizer. Water stations are placed along the courses: five stations on the 10k at approximately miles 0.6, 1.7, 3.1, 3.9, and 5, and two stations on the 5k at approximately miles 0.8 and 1.9. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the brewery.
Runners receive a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for those registered before April 21; sizes for later registrants are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a virtual race option for participants who cannot attend in person.
Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the event. The event benefits Boulder Crest Foundation, described by the organizer as a rural wellness center focused on veterans, first responders, and their families.
