2027 Trail Demon 5k & 10k
Trail Demon is a trail running event at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, Virginia, held on May 1, 2027. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course runs on a forest trail behind the brewery as a single loop for the 5k and two loops for the 10k. The route includes technical sections with tree roots and rocks and has noticeable elevation changes. Water stations are placed along both distances: two stations on the 5k and five stations on the 10k, with Gatorade available at some stations. Restrooms are available in the brewery.
This is a chip timed event with a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery included for runners. Live results are published during the event with a QR code on site and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. The event awards the top three men and women overall and first and second place in standard age categories; top three overall finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is available. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for entries completed before April 21.
