Twin Tunnels Turkey Trot Fun Run - Hood River
The Twin Tunnels Turkey Trot Fun Run is a community fundraiser for Mosier Community School held on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail at the Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead in Hood River, Oregon. The route uses a paved, closed-to-traffic section of the Twin Tunnel trail and is run as an out-and-back course with views of the Columbia River Gorge.
The event offers multiple distance options and a separate kids distance. Pies are awarded to top finishers in each category. All proceeds support the Mosier Community School family food assistance program. Pre-registered participants may pick up their race tags on the morning of the event; day-of registration is also available. A state park day pass is required to park at the visitor center; a day pass costs $5 and can be purchased at the onsite kiosk that accepts credit cards. Parking is limited.
