Run & Reel Spring Festival
The Run & Reel Spring Festival at Camp Kanesatake in Spruce Creek, PA is presented as a free family day featuring outdoor activities, vendors, and on-site parking. The event includes a trail running program, a fishing tournament on Spruce Creek, food and craft vendors, hayrides, a zipline, a kids carnival, and a camp coffee and snack shop.
The trail run offers two race distances and a kids fun run for children 12 and under. The course covers dirt trails, field roads, a short section of pavement, and some technical side hills, with aid stations and light refreshments available for participants. The 10K is a single loop with a final stretch on level blacktop. Participants may create personal fundraising pages; one hundred percent of proceeds benefit Camp Kanesatake and prizes are awarded to top fundraisers.
The fishing tournament is held on Spruce Creek and awards prizes for the largest catch. Lunch is provided to fishing tournament participants. Youth anglers must be accompanied by an adult. Some activities and competitions require registration and entry fees; online runner registration is due by April 22, 2026, with race day registration available for an additional fee.
