Twilight 12K - Anchorage, May 29, 2026
The Twilight 12K is a Friday evening running event centered at Skinny Raven Downtown in Anchorage with both in person and virtual participation options. In person races start at 8th and H Street and finish at the Rose Garden on the Park Strip near 10th and N Street. Virtual entries can complete their chosen distance during the event window in late May and may request packet shipping.
The course uses a mix of city streets and multiuse trail. It includes a closed A/C St bridge lap through the Government Hill neighborhood, then routes through Downtown Anchorage, the Coastal Trail, and Westchester Lagoon. Live music is provided on course and at the finish area. Food and beverage service at the finish includes Bear Tooth wraps and a Broken Tooth beverage.
Event items include a Bella Canvas CVC cotton poly blend shirt and optional running trucker hats. Packet pickup is available at Skinny Raven locations in the days before the event. A staffed bag drop moves bags from near Skinny Raven to the finish area.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and age class winners in both distances; gift cards are awarded to select finishers and non binary top finishers. For safety and insurance compliance, pets, bicycles, and rollerblades are not allowed in the race; participants with baby joggers or strollers are asked to start at the back. Bike Anchorage provides staffed bike valet near the finish on a first come first served basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
