About the race
The Twelve Mile Creek Trail Half Marathon is an annual trail running event held in St. Catharines, Ontario, with its 36th edition scheduled for June 7, 2025. The race features a half marathon (21.1 km) and a challenging 7 km run, both incorporating scenic and historic routes along the 12 Mile Creek Trail, also known as the Merritt Trail.
Runners face rolling hills and the notable Hydro Hill climb on the Niagara Escarpment. The course is mostly hard-packed gravel with multiple water and electrolyte stations.
