About the race
Holiday 5K at Old Fort Niagara is a scenic 5K run held entirely within Fort Niagara State Park in Youngstown, NY. Now in its 10th year, the USATF-certified course features stunning views of the Fort Niagara complex, the Lower Niagara River, Lake Ontario, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada, and the Toronto skyline. The start and finish are near the lighthouse by the historic cemetery.
Participants receive a custom bib and timing chip, a keepsake holiday gift, and post-race snacks under a heated tent; a large heated party tent hosts music and awards. Muskets signal the start; adult beverages allowed for those 21+, with ample parking. Registration $35; proceeds support local causes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
