Santa Dash 5K
The Niagara PAL Santa Dash is a community 5k event scheduled for December 5, 2026. The event includes a timed 5k run with timing and scoring provided by ScoreThis, and it supports Niagara PAL youth programs across Niagara County.
Costumed runners are welcome and encouraged, with cash prizes awarded for the best holiday themed outfits. The first 150 registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt; the pre-registration deadline to guarantee shirt size is to be announced. Early registration and packet pickup details are to be announced. Participants may register online or in person on the day of the event.
Awards include overall male and female winners and top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over. Special race divisions include the Law Enforcement Doughnut Cup Challenge, First Responder Challenge, Educators Division, and a High School Division.
Event activities listed by the organizer include a gift card auction at the Sheraton (300 Third Street, Niagara Falls), a breakfast with Santa, an after-race party, and live entertainment.
