Santa Dash 5K
The event is a holiday themed 5K held on December 5, 2026 in Niagara Falls. Costumed runners are welcome and encouraged, with cash prizes awarded for the best holiday themed outfits. Timing and scoring are provided by ScoreThis!
Pre-registration is encouraged and the first 150 runners are guaranteed a t-shirt; the pre-register date and early packet pickup details are listed as TBA. Participants may register online or in person on the day of the event. Some registration options and packet pickup information will be announced before the race.
Awards are presented to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 10 and under through 70 and over. The event includes several special races and divisions, including the Law Enforcement Doughnut Cup Challenge, a First Responder Challenge, an Educators Division, and a High School Division.
Additional event activities include a gift card auction at the Sheraton on Third Street, breakfast with Santa, live entertainment and an after race party. All proceeds benefit Niagara PAL youth programs across Niagara County. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
