Niagara PAL Santa Dash 5k
The Niagara PAL Santa Dash 5k is a holiday themed road run organized as a community fundraiser. The event includes a 5K distance and welcomes costumed runners; cash prizes are awarded for the best holiday themed outfits. Timing and scoring are provided by ScoreThis!.
Registration options include online pre-registration or in person registration on race day. Pre-registration is encouraged and the first 150 registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt; the pre-registration deadline and early packet pickup details are to be announced. Race day registration is available.
Awards are presented to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers within the listed age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over. The event includes several special divisions and challenges such as the Law Enforcement Doughnut Cup Challenge, a First Responder Challenge, an Educators Division, and a High School Division.
Onsite activities connected to the event include a gift card auction held at the Sheraton on Third Street, a breakfast with Santa, an after race party, and live entertainment.
