Turtle Trot: NSB Beach 5k Run/Walk - New Smyrna Beach
The Turtle Trot: NSB Beach 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 23, 2026 on the beach at the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The event includes on-site packet pickup and day of registration near the start line before the race.
The course is entirely on sand and begins and finishes on the beach in front of the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk. Timing is chip based using disposable electronic chips attached to bib numbers; bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt and pinned at all four corners so the timing read is accurate. Results will be posted onsite and published online after the event.
Entry fees are listed as $30 through May 22 and $35 for in person registration on May 23. Registration is non refundable and transfers are not permitted. Shirts are provided to the first 300 registrants with sizes not guaranteed for late or day of registrations. There is a finisher medal for every participant.
On course amenities include water refill stations near the start and finish and two water stops along the route. Free professional race photos will be available for download after the event. Pets are not allowed. The event is held rain or shine. Parking options include free street parking along Flagler Avenue and metered boardwalk lots.
