Turtle Trot: NSB Beach 5K Run/Walk
The Turtle Trot: NSB Beach 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 23, 2026 on the beach at the Flagler Ave Boardwalk in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The course is a beach run/walk on sand with the start and finish located on the beach in front of the boardwalk.
The event features a chip-timed 5K using disposable electronic timing chips attached to the race bib. Results will be posted onsite after the race and available online. Every finisher receives a medal. Race photos are taken professionally and made available for free download after the event.
Packet pickup and day-of registration occur near the start line at a clearly marked tent on the Flagler Ave Boardwalk. A race-specific shirt is provided to the first 300 registrants; sizes and quantities are not guaranteed for late or walk-up registrations. Only runners who complete registration and payment seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a shirt.
Water is provided at refill stations near the start/finish area and twice along the 5K route using jugs and paper cups; participants may bring personal bottles to reduce waste. The event is rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable and transfers are not allowed. In-person registration on the day of the event is available at a higher fee; registration opens and closes on the dates announced by the organizer.
