Don't Panic 42K is organized by The Running Elements at their store on ONE DAYTONA property in Daytona Beach, Florida. The event is based on a 2K loop course that begins at The Running Elements store and runs around the ONE DAYTONA property.
The course is on sidewalks around the property and includes pedestrian bridge ramps. Participants may complete any number of laps; the organizer notes examples such as one lap or 21 laps. The event is not timed and there are no awards.

Registration information provided by the organizer lists a registration fee of $4.20 and optional race shirts available for an additional $25. Registration opens on 2026-06-01 and closes on 2027-01-03. Any additional donations are used to offset the cost of food and beverage offered inside the store.
