An upgrade to a long sleeve or ladies' tank style shirt is available for an additional $5, subject to availability.
Awards are given for first male and female overall, youth overall (14 and under), masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, veteran grandmasters, and three-deep in age groups beginning with 8 and under, then 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, then five-year age groups to 80 and over. Packet pickup is scheduled at The Twig on the Thursday before the race from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The trail remains open to the public and the organizer emphasizes trail etiquette including courtesy, warning before passing, staying to the right, and using crossing signals at road intersections.
The organizer notes that unclaimed medals will not be saved after the event and that uncollected packets, shirts, or medals are forfeited. Sponsorships are available and a race contact is provided for inquiries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
