Turkey Trot for the Twig
The Turkey Trot for the Twig takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Venice, FL (zip 34285). The in-person event is a chip-timed 5K that starts and finishes near Legacy Park adjacent to the Venice Historic Train Depot. The race benefits children in the foster care system and programs of The Twig Cares.
Race swag for the 5K includes a custom finisher medal for all finishers, a race bib, and a short-sleeve race shirt (upgrades to a long-sleeve or ladies' tank are available for an additional fee). The shirt deadline is October 1; sizes are not guaranteed after that date. Packet pickup is at The Twig (826 Pinebrook Rd, Venice, FL 34285) on the Thursday before the race. The course follows the Venice Historic Train Depot up the Legacy Trail and back. Unclaimed medals will not be saved after the event.
Fusion Fest 5k
Fusion Fest 5k is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at North Port City Center, 4970 City Hall Blvd, North Port, FL 34286. The event includes timed and untimed distances and supports the North Port Youth Soccer Club. A family festival at North Port City Green follows the race with games, music, vendors, and food.

The 5K offers age-bracket awards and soccer-themed awards for top youth finishers. Water is provided mid-course and after the race. Packet pickup is at Narramore Sports Complex (7508 Glenallen Blvd, North Port, FL 34287) on the day before the event. All registration is online.
