Turkey Trot 5K, Saint Leonard

The Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 26, 2026 at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum in Saint Leonard, MD. The event includes two options:

Virtual 5K

The race lists Project ECHO and the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum as beneficiaries. Project ECHO provides emergency shelter and supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Calvert County. The Friends group supports educational programming and free events such as Children's Day on the Farm.

Entry for the event includes a custom long sleeve race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and real time results. Standard adult pricing is presented in tiered dates with the following published amounts: opening fee $35, September and October tier $40, November 1 to November 25 tier $45, and race day $50. Children ages 4 to 12 have a separate rate and ages 0 to 3 are free.

Packet pickup is available at Project ECHO Homeless Shelter, 484 Main Street, Prince Frederick, MD 20678 on several days before the event. Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers and the top three males and females in multiple age groups, including 12 and under and successive adult brackets.
