Hot for Chocolate 5K
The Hot for Chocolate 5K takes place on February 14, 2026, at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum, 10515 Mackall Road, Saint Leonard, MD 20685. The event is presented by Calvert County Community Partners and includes both an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K.

Event fees listed on the page are $43.40 (5K, incl. $3.40 fee) and $38.10 (Virtual 5K, incl. $3.10 fee). Standard timed pricing for the series also varies by registration date; a race-day standard rate of $50 and youth pricing (ages 4-12: $25; ages 0-3: free) are included in the event information.
Race entries include a custom long-sleeve race shirt, a custom finisher medal, access to a complimentary post-race hot chocolate bar, and real-time results. Packet pickup and early check-in are available the week of the race; exact dates and times are to be posted before the event. The 5K course starts and ends at the Pavilion at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum and a course map will be available the week of the race.
Awards are given to the Top Overall Male and Female plus the top three males and females in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
