Turkey Trot Prediction Run : Columbia
The Turkey Trot Prediction Run is a community running event held at the Jeffers Hill Community Center, 6031 Tamar Drive, Columbia, MD 21045. The event is organized as a prediction run, where the objective is to finish as close as possible to a specified target time rather than to be the fastest finisher.
Participants may choose their own start moment and aim to match the target finish time. Use of timing devices is not allowed. Other prohibited items include baby strollers, iPods, headphones, and animals.
The event includes two entry categories: Prediction Run - Student and Prediction Run - Individual. The student category is open to ages 18 and under. Registration and pricing are managed per category.
All proceeds from the event are designated for the Tripp Scholar Athlete Fund. The Howard County Striders are associated with the event and provide organizational support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
