Plattekill Mountain Race

About the race

Plattekill Mountain Race returns to Roxbury, NY for the fourth edition, offering a challenging mountain course on the slopes and trails of Plattekill. The Mountain Race covers 6.5 miles with 3,500 feet of elevation gain, looping up, down, and around the ski area for views and a tough test of endurance. A 5k option is offered, starting on the same gravel trail and delivering about 1,000 feet of gain in the first 1.25 miles before a cross-mountain traverse and a fast downhill finish.
