Turkey Trot for Hope
Turkey Trot for Hope takes place on November 26, 2026 at Mardi Gras Park on South Royal Street in Mobile, Alabama. The event benefits Rapahope, a nonprofit that provides free year-round camp programs for families affected by childhood cancer. Registration proceeds support those programs, which are funded by sponsors, volunteers, and event fundraisers.
Two distances are offered:
- 5K certified course with chip timing
- Gobble Wobble about a one mile fun run
The 5K is chip timed; race bibs include a timing chip that records elapsed time between the start and finish mats. Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled at Mardi Gras Park the day before the event. Awards are presented for Male and Female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, Wheelchair, and the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 9 and under through 75–99. Additional special awards include most participants, best Thanksgiving costume, fastest turkey, and fastest wheelchair participant.
Published registration fees list the 5K at $39.53 and the fun run at $23.44, with base fees indicated separately from processing fees and taxes.
