Keesler Federal Battleship 12K
The Keesler Federal Battleship 12K is scheduled for 11/15/2026 in Spanish Fort, Alabama, with the starting area noted near 26000 Bass Pro Dr. at the Spanish Fort Town Center and the finish at Battleship Memorial Park beside the USS Alabama. The event includes a standard and an assisted 12K option.
The course is a simple point to point route. Runners start on Old Spanish Trail, turn right just past the old chamber of commerce and head downhill. Participants remain in the southernmost lane and the emergency lane along Highway 98 until they enter Battleship Memorial Park for the final stretch.
The event features patriotic opening ceremonies and the National Anthem. As runners enter the park they are given small American flags for the homestretch. Civilians, active military, and veterans are present near the finish and expressions of thanks for service are part of the finish-line atmosphere. Shuttles return participants from the finish area to the starting line area at Spanish Fort Town Center.
