Turkey Trails - Houston
The Turkey Trails - Houston is a Thanksgiving-themed running event taking place at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, Texas. This annual event offers several race categories to accommodate different preferences, ranging from short distances for children to longer endurance options.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (50m, untimed)
Participants in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receive chip-timing with live results and awards. All registered runners for these distances, as well as the 1 Mile participants, receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash is specifically for children aged 10 and under, featuring a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal. Children who do not wish to receive the shirt or medal are permitted to participate in the dash at no cost.
The event provides free photos and refreshments at the finish line for all runners. For those unable to attend the physical location, a Virtual Race option is available, allowing participation from any location while still receiving the event memorabilia. Youth pricing is applied for children aged 12 and under in the 5K and 10K categories.
