About the race
The event is a community running and walking occasion held in Bardstown, Kentucky on November 26, 2026, supporting The New Life Center. It takes place at Bardstown High School Gym, 400 N 5th Street, Bardstown, KY 40004, and is open to all ages.
Two participation options are offered:
- 5K in-person event
- 3.1 miles virtual option
Registration opens June 19, 2026. In-person registration closes October 31, 2026; virtual registration closes November 26, 2026. Early bird registration through November 1 offers reduced fees and an event t-shirt for registrants who meet that deadline. Fee structure published by the organizer includes early bird and regular rates, separate adult and child pricing, a virtual entry fee, and a family discount for groups of six or more. Children aged four and under may participate without a fee, and special family rates are noted.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, the youngest and oldest runners, and top finishers in the listed age categories: Youth (12 and under), Teen (13 to 19), Apprentice (20 to 40), Jouneyman (40 to 55), and Master (56 and over). Packet pickup is available on race day. The organizer frames the occasion as a seasonal community tradition that raises funds for a local service organization.
