Mount Washington Spring Festival 5K
The Seventh Annual Mount Washington Spring Festival 5K is a road race held in Mt Washington, Kentucky. The event is open to participants of all ages and skill levels, accommodating both runners and walkers. The course is designed to be stroller friendly.
Competitive participants are positioned at the front of the pack, while casual racers, walkers, and strollers start behind them. The route is characterized as relatively flat. The course begins on Park View Ave. near Flat Lick Road and travels northeast toward Landis Lane. After a turnaround at Landis Lane, the path follows Griffin Lane to Gardiner Way, where another turnaround is situated at the cul-de-sac. The route then backtracks to Park View Ave. and enters the local park. The final segment follows the park walking path, with the finish line located at the Mount Washington Sports Complex near the amphitheater.

All participants receive a custom medal upon completion. Overall race winner and runner-up awards are presented to the top male and female finishers at the finish line. Participants have the option to purchase an event t-shirt separately if ordered by the specified deadline. Proceeds from the event are directed to the Bullitt East High School Track and Field team to support their programs.
