Mount Washington Spring Festival 5K (May 9, 2026)
The Mount Washington Spring Festival 5K is the seventh annual 5-kilometre road race held in Mt Washington, KY 40047 as part of the Mount Washington Spring Festival. The event is a live 5K run/walk that is open to runners and walkers and is stroller friendly. The course begins on Park View Ave. and finishes at the Mount Washington Sports Complex. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Bullitt East High School Track and Field team.
Course and race details
The 5K course starts on Park View Ave. near Flat Lick Road, travels northeast toward Landis Lane, turns left to the end of Landis Lane, then follows Griffin Lane to Gardiner Way and turns around at the cul-de-sac. The route backtracks to Park View Ave., enters the park near the start line on Park View, follows the park walking path, and finishes near the amphitheater. All participants receive a custom medal. T-shirts are available for purchase separately with an order deadline of 4/30/26; t-shirts and medals will be distributed on race day. Bibs can be picked up on race day at the Wesbanco Pavilion. Awards for overall winner and runner-up are given to males and females at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
