Turkey Day Run 5K - Charleston, SC
The Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a U.S. Track & Field certified five-kilometer race held in Charleston that follows a course through historic downtown and out onto the peninsula. The event was established in 1914; the original race started in Downtown and finished in Summerville.
The event program includes a main 5 km race, a Children’s Run, and a virtual race option. Supporting elements listed for the event include course information and a course map, race day tips, registration details, and an FAQ.
A Race Expo is scheduled the day before the race at a tent on the northeast side of Marion Square at 337 Meeting St. The post-race party takes place in Marion Square and features free drinks, food, and local vendors. Registration opens April 2, 2026.
