Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble 5K, Marion Square, Charleston SC
The event is an annual charity running event held in Charleston with in-person and virtual options. Its mission is to raise money for local charities and it is presented as a community, family-oriented occasion that includes multiple race options.
Race options include:
- 5K Run and Walk
- Virtual 5K
- Kids Fun Run
Packet pickup is handled at a race expo the day before the event at the tent on the northeast side of Marion Square (337 Meeting St.). There is no race day registration or packet pickup. Participants may choose to have their packet mailed for an additional $15 if that option is selected during registration before November 1. Race shirts are not guaranteed for late registration.
The Kids Fun Run is limited to 500 participants; all kids receive a kids run T-shirt and a finisher medal. Strollers are allowed only in the designated Walkers with Strollers corral (orange); this corral is placed at the end of the start line and enforcement is in place for participant safety. The expo includes a vendor village with sponsor booths offering discounts, giveaways, raffles, and samples. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
