About the race
The Veterans Day 5K Fun Run or Walk is scheduled at Hampton Park, 30 Mary Murray Drive, Charleston, South Carolina on November 14, 2026. The event includes an in-person 5K, a virtual 5K option, and a dedicated registration category for veterans and active duty participants.
All participants receive both a long sleeve shirt and a commemorative medal. To guarantee a preferred shirt size, registrants should complete registration before September 7, 2026; registrations after that date will still receive a shirt but sizing cannot be guaranteed.
Registration details by category:
- In-person 5K: registration opens January 3, 2026, and closes October 7, 2026; registration fee is $30.00.
- Virtual 5K: registration opens January 3, 2026, and closes November 6, 2026; registration fee is $35.00.
- Veteran/Active Duty category: registration opens January 3, 2026, and closes October 7, 2026; registration fee is $20.00.
Packet pick up is scheduled for the day before the event at Fleet Feet West Ashley, 1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston. Participants may pick up packets for family or friends. There is no race day packet pick up.
Donations are accepted to support veteran causes. Donors can honor a veteran with a small flag for donations of $10 or more, or with a larger sign for donations of $30 or more. Flags will be displayed together at the event and signs will be displayed along the course; items may be picked up after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
