About the race
The Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run & Walk is a ticketed preview event held at 871 Riverland Dr in Charleston, SC. The event combines a short road run/walk with early access to the Holiday Festival of Lights, which features over 200 light displays. After the 2-mile run/walk, participants may remain in the festival area to view displays and use festival amenities.
Ticket sales open August 1. Participants must present the registration QR code received at registration during check-in. The event proceeds in all weather. Participants will receive a glow necklace.
Organizers recommend using a flashlight for visibility. A chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, and scooters are not allowed. Socialized dogs on short, non-retractable leashes are allowed. Smoking, vaping, and other tobacco use are prohibited. Gates and pedestrian flow are managed by event staff; gates may be closed to vehicle traffic during the event.
