About the race
The Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run & Walk offers a preview of the Holiday Festival of Lights. The event features a 2 mile run/walk and access to more than 200 light displays. After the run/walk, participants are invited to enjoy the festival amenities.
Ticket sales open August 1. Tickets are available for Wednesday, November 11 and Thursday, November 12. Participants are asked to be prepared to present the QR code received via email. Registration QR codes can also be found by logging in to the purchaser's Active.com events page with the email address used to buy tickets.
Event notes include that the event runs rain or shine and that flashlights are recommended for visibility. A chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, and scooters are not allowed. Socialized dogs on short, non-retractable leashes are welcome. Participants will receive a glow necklace. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are prohibited. Gates will close to vehicle traffic and will not reopen until pedestrians have cleared the road.
