Event Overview
The Turkey Chase is a multi-distance running event held in Cary, North Carolina. Organized by Fit & Able, the event provides an opportunity for participants to engage in physical activity following the Thanksgiving holiday. The races take place at William B. Umstead State Park, with a focus on community fitness.

Logistics and Course Information
Check-in and parking are located at RallyPoint Sports Grill in Harrison Square. Because there is no race parking permitted at Umstead Park, all participants are transported to and from the start and finish lines by bus. The courses are set within William B. Umstead State Park, and all races have a staggered start. The course remains open until a designated cutoff time three hours after the initial start.
Participant Amenities
Those registered for the 5K, 10K, or 13.1 distances receive a finisher's medal and a knit hat or fleece warmer. Additional items, such as race shirts, are available for separate purchase. The event also utilizes the RaceJoy mobile app, which allows for live GPS tracking and progress alerts for both in-person and virtual participants.
