Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Vero Beach, FL
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Vero Beach is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) community event held on 09/05/2026 at Riverside Park Drive in Vero Beach, Florida. The event honors the life and actions of Stephen Siller and supports first responders and military service members.
Registrations include several categories with published fees: adult registration, first responders and military, youth ages 13 to 17, and children 12 and under. Day-of registration is available but carries an additional $10 fee and late registrants are not guaranteed event shirts or sizes. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising totals.
The event experience is noncompetitive in format at present; the event is currently not timed, and organizers note timing may change as plans develop. Participants must display their bib on the front of the outermost garment; those without a bib will be asked to leave the course. Fast runners predicting a pace faster than six minutes per mile are seeded in a front corral.
Accessibility and on-course support include permission for strollers and wheelchairs, allowance for firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks, at least one water station on the route and water at the square, and an on-site emergency medical service team with radio communication. Packet pickup is available at Fire Station 2 in Vero Beach on the Friday before the event.
