Ninja 5K - Vero Beach
The Ninja 5K is a themed running event organized by Vero Beach Karate Association at South Beach Park in Vero Beach, Florida on October 10, 2026. The event includes an in-person Ninja 5K and a Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Participants are encouraged to wear ninja costumes during the in-person event.
Registration opens on April 1, 2026. Standard registration is listed at $35. A child entry fee is listed at $25 through October 10, 2026. Virtual registration closes earlier than the in-person event.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for October 9 at Vero Beach Karate Association, 1355 29th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960. On race day, packet pickup and registration occur at South Beach Park, 1702 Ocean Dr, Vero Beach, FL 32963. An awards ceremony takes place after the race.
Race amenities include race T-shirts (sizes not guaranteed for late registrants), a free kids run with prizes, post-race refreshments, and age-group awards. Awards include top overall male and female, masters (40+), top three in multiple age groups, and awards for fastest team and largest team; scoring uses the top four people for the fastest team.
Vero Beach Karate Association has offered martial arts instruction in Indian River County for 53 years. Its scholarship program began in 2001 as the United States Karate Jiu Jitsu Scholarship Fund and awards Black Belt high school seniors scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000.
