- Awards for fastest team and largest team (top four people scored for fastest team)
Organizer and purpose: The Vero Beach Karate Association has taught martial arts in Indian River County for 53 years. The association supports a college scholarship program, the United States Karate Jiu Jitsu Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 to qualifying Black Belt high school seniors.
