Ninja 5K
The Ninja 5K is held at South Beach Park in Vero Beach, Florida on October 10, 2026. The event includes an in person 5K race and a Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Participants are encouraged to wear ninja costumes to match the event theme.
Registration opens April 1, 2026. Registration for the in person race closes October 9, 2026, and registration for the virtual event closes October 8, 2026. Standard registration fees are $35 for adults and $25 for children; race day fees are higher and listed as $40 for adults and $30 for children. Early packet pickup is available on October 9 at the Vero Beach Karate Association location in Vero Beach. Packet pickup and registration are also available on race day at South Beach Park.
Amenities include event T shirts with limited sizing for late registrants, a free kids run with prizes, post race refreshments, and an awards ceremony. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female age 40 and over, the top three male and female finishers in each age group, the fastest team and the largest team. Age groups start at 13 and under and continue in standard ten year ranges through 80 and over.
The event is organized by the Vero Beach Karate Association. The association operates a college scholarship program that began in 2001 and provides scholarships to Black Belt high school seniors who trained with the association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
