Event details
The Ninja 5K is a themed running event organized by the Vero Beach Karate Association in October 2026. The event program includes an in-person Ninja 5K and a Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Distances:

- 5K Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Race amenities include race T-shirts (sizes not guaranteed for late registrants), a free kids run with prizes, post-race refreshments, and an awards ceremony for age group winners. Award categories list top finishers and teams: Top 3 overall male and female, Top Masters male and female (40+), Top 3 male and female in each age group (13 & under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+), plus awards for fastest team and largest team.
Logistics and organizer
The in-person race takes place at South Beach Park, 1702 Ocean Dr, Vero Beach, FL 32963. Early packet pickup is available at Vero Beach Karate Association, 1355 29th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Registration opens in May 2026 for the listed events. Published entry fees include an adult price of $35 (in advance) and a child price of $25 (in advance), with higher fees listed for race day. The Vero Beach Karate Association operates a college scholarship fund (United States Karate Jiu Jitsu Scholarship Fund, established 2001) that awards scholarships of $500 to $3,000 to qualifying Black Belt high school seniors.
