Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - The Villages, FL
The Tunnel to Towers 5K in The Villages is a community run and walk held on November 14, 2026 at 700 N. Buena Vista Boulevard, The Villages, FL 32162. The event is the third edition in The Villages and is organized to honor first responders, remember the events of September 11, 2001, and raise funds for Tunnel to Towers programs.
The course distance is a 5K, approximately 3.1 miles, and participants may run, walk, or otherwise take part. Multiple registration categories are offered with the following fees: Adult $30, First Responders and Military $25, Youth 13 to 17 $10, and Child 12 and under $5. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 13 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and on race morning between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.; organizers recommend collecting packets on Friday to avoid missing the event start.
Course support includes three water stations along the route and water at the start and finish. An on-site Emergency Medical Service team and radio communication will be available. Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment while on course. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising goals.
