LSSC Monster Dash
The LSSC Monster Dash takes place on October 31, 2026 at Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg, Florida. The event includes in-person running races and a virtual participation option. The course passes scenic views of Silver Lake. Costumes are encouraged.
All registered participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. Race t-shirts and medals are guaranteed only for registrations placed on or before October 16, 2026. Runners are timed and placement recognition will be announced for the top finishers in each age category.
Distances and options:
- 5K : 3.1 Miles, registration fee $25.00
- 10K : 6.2 Miles, registration fee $35.00
- Virtual Racer : virtual participation, registration fee $30.00
Virtual Racer details note that the registration includes a Monster Dash t-shirt and event medal, which can be picked up in the Foundation Office after the event. Registration for the 5K and 10K opens November 4, 2025 and closes August 30, 2026. Virtual registration opens November 4, 2025 and closes October 30, 2026.
