Landbridge Trail 5K
The Landbridge Trail 5K is a trail event on the Florida Trail at the Landbridge Trailhead in Ocala, Florida (11100 SW 16th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34476) on November 14, 2026. The course is a well marked 5K loop that climbs to the top of the Landbridge via the Blue and Orange blazed trails.
The event offers two entries: a running 5K and a 5K ruck. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026; the listed registration fee is $30. Race timing is provided by Trail Head Ultras and results are updated live during the race. All finishers receive a custom race medal.
Packet pickup is race day only at the Landbridge Trailhead parking lot. Pick up is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Ruck weight checks are conducted at check in.
Rucking division rules specify minimum dry weights and equipment requirements. Minimum dry weight is 20 pounds for women, 20 pounds for men under 150 pounds, and 30 pounds for men 150 pounds and over. Packs must be backpacks or rucks worn on the back; no vests or hand carried packs. The ruck must be carried for the entire race with no dropping, handoffs, weight sharing, or outside assistance.
A post race breakfast and social will follow the finish. Participants are encouraged to support the Florida Trail; a minimum suggested donation of $25 per participant is mentioned to assist trail maintenance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
