The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Mount Pleasant is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026. The event takes place at Park West Recreational Facilities, located at 1251 Park W. Blvd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29466.

Event Details

This event is a 5K run and walk, approximately 3.1 miles. Registration is available in several categories with different prices: Adult Registration ($25), First Responders & Military Registration ($20), Youth Registration for ages 13 to 17 ($10), and Child Registration for ages 12 and under ($5). This will be the first year the Tunnel to Towers Foundation hosts an event in Mount Pleasant.

Purpose and Background

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who died on September 11, 2001. The event honors those who lost their lives on 9/11 and supports first responders and military personnel. The associated foundation provides support for fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.
