Charleston RiverDogs: Run Charlie Run 5K
The event on May 3, 2026 in Charleston includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K. The in-person course is a 5K (3.1 miles) that starts in front of Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park and, weather permitting, finishes at home plate. Split times are recorded at each mile and there is a water station at the halfway point.
Race packet pickup is available in person at Riley Park before the event or at the stadium on race day. Shirts are issued with registration while supplies last. Virtual packets will be mailed between May 5 and May 8. The event benefits MUSC Children's Health.
In-person registration includes attendance at the RiverDogs postrace game via an e-ticket, a team-style event shirt, a custom finisher medal, two drink tickets for postrace beverages, and chip timing with age group awards. Age group awards recognize the top three male and top three female finishers overall and the first male and female in each age division, including under 10 and subsequent ten-year ranges up to 70 and over.
