Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Lake George, NY
The Tunnel to Towers 5K in Lake George is a community run and walk held on September 20, 2026 at Charles R. Wood Park, 17 W Brook Road, Lake George, NY 12845. The event uses a 5K course (3.1 miles) for running or walking and is the second Tunnel to Towers event in Lake George. It honors first responders and military and raises funds for Tunnel to Towers programs.
Multiple registration categories are listed with set fees: adult registration, first responders and military, youth ages 13 to 17, and child 12 and under. Registration opens on June 10 and closes on June 17. Packet pickup is available on race day at Charles R. Wood Park; someone else may pick up a packet if they present a copy of the registrant receipt.
Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment; those who run without a bib will be removed from the course and not allowed to finish. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted and firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are allowed. Water will be available along the route and at the start and finish. An Emergency Medical Service team will be on site and radio communication is available along the course. Shirts are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising goals and donations will be accepted for six weeks after the event.
