About the race
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk in Lake George takes place on September 20, 2026, at Charles R. Wood Park, 17 W. Brook Road, Lake George, NY 12845. The event is a 5K that accommodates walking and running and supports programs of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in honor of first responders and servicemembers.
Registration categories and fees are listed for different participant groups: adult, first responders and military, youth (13 to 17 years), and children (12 and under). Registration opens on June 10, 2026, and closes on June 17, 2026. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising totals.
Packet pickup will occur on race day at Charles R. Wood Park. Bibs must be displayed on the front of the outermost garment; participants without bibs will not be allowed to finish. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. A water station will be available along the route and at the start and finish areas.
Shirts are available while supplies last and are not guaranteed. Registrations may be transferred to another person; refunds are not provided. Donations will be accepted for six weeks after the event. Emergency Medical Service personnel will be on site and radio communication will be available along the course.
