Buck 50 - Kattskill Bay, NY
Buck 50 is a 50 kilometer trail ultramarathon held on October 3, 2026, in Kattskill Bay, New York. The race starts and finishes at Camp Chingachgook on Pilot Knob Road and follows remote trails around the shores of Lake George. The course gains approximately 9,000 feet of elevation and crosses four of Lake George’s taller peaks.
The route departs Camp Chingachgook via a dirt path to the Buck Mountain trail, summits Buck Mountain, then connects to the Sleeping Beauty trail via Shelving Rock and Dacy Clearing Road. Runners continue over Sleeping Beauty, join the Black Mountain trail via Fishbrook Pond, summit Black Mountain, and descend to Black Mountain Point on the lake shore.
