Event Overview
Tsunami Ocean Trails is a series of coastal trail running events on the North Devon and Cornish coastline. The courses traverse rugged and remote clifftop and cliff trails.
Distances
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- Ultra: 37.5 miles from Westward Ho! to Bude
- Marathon: from Clovelly to Bude
- Sixteen: 16 miles from Hartland Quay to Bude
Course Details
The marathon route starts at Clovelly harbour and finishes at Castle Bude, with almost 2,000 meters of ascent along the way. All routes include significant elevation changes over wild and isolated terrain with no towns or villages en route.
Event Features
All finishers receive an OuterEdge designed medal. A bespoke Tsunami t-shirt and bus transport to the start from Castle Bude are available for purchase. Checkpoints are stocked and managed by runners. The event holds a permit from the Trail Running Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
