Truckee Half Marathon and Truckee 5K
This is the Ninth Annual Truckee running event held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Course options include a half marathon and a 5K, with both distances starting and finishing in Historic Downtown Truckee. The route runs on a mixture of pavement and dirt and uses local roads and Truckee’s trail system, highlighting locations within the Sierra landscapes.
Packet pickup and on-site registration are based at Alibi Ale Truckee, with packet pickup available the evening before and the morning of the event. The event program includes vendor check-in and an expo at the same location. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and across five-year age categories.
Registration pricing varies by date. Example published fees for the half marathon are $100 early, $105 later, and $115 on-site. The 5K fees include $60 early, $65 later, and $70 on-site; youth and senior rates are lower. Entry includes an event T-shirt, a finishing medal, race recovery nutrition, and post-event festivities with music and cold beverages including offerings from Alibi Ale and non-alcoholic options.
