Truckee Half Marathon and Truckee 5K
The Ninth Annual Truckee Half Marathon and Truckee 5K are scheduled for August 1, 2026, with both distances starting and finishing in Historic Downtown Truckee. The event highlights the natural scenery of the Sierra landscapes and the character of the mountain town.

The course passes through several notable locations and uses a mixture of pavement and dirt. Surfaces include local roads and segments of Truckee’s extensive trail system. Packet pickup and registration are offered the day before and the morning of the event at Alibi Ale Truckee, where welcoming festivities take place. Volunteer check-in and vendor check-in also occur at that location.
Included with entry are an event T-shirt and a finishing medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and in five-year age categories. The event provides race recovery nutrition and post-event festivities that feature music and cold beverages, including offerings from Alibi Ale and non-alcoholic options.
