Event Overview
The Olympic Valley Half Marathon, 8 Miler, and 5K start and finish at the Village at Palisades Tahoe, the site of the historic 1960 Winter Olympics. The courses are described as relatively fast and flat, following a scenic out-and-back route mainly along paved trails through the valley and alongside the Truckee River.

Event Details
Registration is available online until June 12, 2026, with on-site registration possible if the event is not sold out. Discounts are available for clubs, teams, challenged athletes, and military personnel, with verification required at packet pickup. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before and the morning of the event at specified locations. The event provides participants with an event T-shirt, snacks, a finisher medal, and a free digital photo. For participants aged 21 and over, a beer from Alibi Ale Works is provided post-event. Aid stations along the course offer water, electrolyte drinks, fruit, and snacks. Medical staff are present, supported by the official medical care partner, Tahoe Forest Health System.
