Olympic Valley Half Marathon, 8 Miler, and 5K
The event offers a paved out-and-back course primarily on the Truckee River Trail in Olympic Valley. All races start and finish at the Village at Palisades Tahoe, site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. The courses are described as relatively fast and flat and run mainly along paved valley trails beside the Truckee River. Wildlife sightings reported along the route include bald eagles, mule deer, and trout.

Aid stations are positioned along the course and are stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, and a variety of fruit and snacks. Registration is available online through June 11, 2027, and on-site registration and packet pickup are available according to the event schedule if the race is not sold out. Entry fees vary by race and by registration timing. Discounts are offered for clubs and teams, challenged athletes, and military participants.
