Trot Thru the Woods
Trot Thru the Woods is the James "Frenchy" Lambert Memorial community race held annually in Warson Woods and organized by the Warson Woods Running Club. The event follows residential streets near Royal Oak Park at 900 Warson Woods Drive in St. Louis, Missouri, and is scheduled for November 21, 2026.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 1/2 mile fun run
The 5K uses tiered registration pricing. The fun run is free for participants who register by the end of September, with a later fee applied for subsequent registrations. T shirts are provided to all 5K registrants, with size guarantees for those registered before November 1. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 20 at Royal Oak Park. Parking on race morning is available behind City Hall at 10015 Manchester Road, though space is limited.
Race day amenities include free race photographs that will be published after the event and post race refreshments for participants. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in these age groups: 7 and under, 8 to 10, 11 to 13, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus.
