St. Elizabeth Royal Run 5K
The St. Elizabeth Royal Run is scheduled for November 14, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Church & School, 2300 Pontoon Road, Granite City, IL. The main event is a timed 5K run that follows a loop on city streets. An alternate option called the "5K in Prayer" takes place inside the church during the run.
All 5K participants receive a finisher's medal and a black frost performance hooded sweatshirt; 5K in Prayer participants also receive the same hooded sweatshirt. Registration by October 23 is required to guarantee sweatshirt availability. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the Royal Run 5K and $25.00 for the 5K in Prayer.
Packet pickup is available both on the day of the event and through an early pickup opportunity at St. Elizabeth the day before the race. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds. Proceeds support the St. Elizabeth Centennial Capital Campaign.
Awards are presented to the top male and female overall finishers and to top finishers in each age group: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
