Girls on the Run St. Louis 5K Celebration
Girls on the Run St. Louis holds a season-closing 5K on November 14, 2026, at Forest Park - Festival and Plaza Parking in St. Louis, MO. The event is a celebratory 3.1 mile course entirely within Forest Park and is designed to give program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. Every registered participant receives a commemorative medal, a GOTR giveaway item, and finish line snacks. Volunteers receive a volunteer t-shirt.
Registration is required for all non-program participants and includes liability waivers. Program participants and coaches are already registered through the council and do not need separate 5K registration. Registration fees vary by date: $30 from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30, $35 from Oct. 1 to Nov. 13, and $40 on the day of the event.
Packet pickup for community participants is available on the Friday before the race at three Big River Running stores:
- West County: 13969 Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO 63011
- University City: 606 North and South Road, University City, MO 63130
- South City: 5352 Devonshire Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109
The event provides multiple parking options, a shuttle from St. Louis Community College parking lots on Oakland Ave, and limited accessible parking. The course is accessible for participants using wheelchairs, and space is designated at the front of the lineup. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course. Family members and community runners may participate if they register. The event also features merchandise, music, happy hair stations, and other race day activities.
