Triple Crown Trot 5K
The Triple Crown Trot 5K is a chip-timed road race held on August 22, 2026, at Coolmore America's Ashford Stud in Versailles, KY. The course runs entirely inside Ashford Stud and passes the historic office, the stallion barn, the foaling barn, and paddocks where yearlings may be visible. The route is mainly paved road but includes a short stretch of mowed grass.
Registration for the on-site 5K and the virtual "Scratched" option opens on March 1, 2026 and closes on March 31, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Race tees are guaranteed for registrations completed by July 31; after that date shirts are distributed while supplies last. The "Scratched" option provides race goodies but does not include a bib.
Walkers are welcome and are asked to complete the course within 90 minutes so hosts can resume normal activities. Strollers are permitted if they can handle the grass section. Pets are not allowed for the safety of the horses. Proceeds from the event benefit the Woodford Humane Society.
Age divisions are 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
